This Privacy Policy may be revised periodically. We will notify users of substantial changes by email, at least 14 days prior to their implementation.


2. Information We Collect from Hosts

When you engage our services, we collect data directly from you, including but not limited to:

  • Full name, email address, phone number, postcode, city, country, and bank account details

  • Communications with us through web forms, phone calls, or chat systems

We use this data to:

  • Provide and manage property services

  • Handle payments and invoicing

  • Communicate service updates and respond to queries

The legal basis for processing is performance of a contract. Data is retained for the duration of our services and may be held longer to meet legal or dispute resolution requirements.

We may also use your name and email address to send you updates and promotional content about our services. This is based on legitimate interest and retained for up to 10 years, unless you opt out sooner.

If you express interest in selling a property or investing in short-term rentals, we may share your details with trusted partners. You may request a full list of partners by contacting admin@domistay.co.uk.


3. Information We Collect from Guests

Guest data, including:

  • Full name, contact number, and a copy of identification (e.g. passport or ID)

is typically received via Hosts or third-party booking platforms. This information helps us:

  • Arrange accommodation access

  • Communicate during stays

  • Meet legal obligations such as ID verification and prevent fraud

This data is retained for a maximum of 6 months and is then securely deleted.


4. Consent-Based Communications

We may send newsletters and promotional emails to individuals who have explicitly opted in via our website or by clicking a consent box in an email. This data (e.g. name and email) is used exclusively for such communications.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. Once withdrawn, we will cease processing this data for marketing purposes.


5. Data Collected Automatically Through Our Website

When you browse our website, we automatically collect certain information, including:
